If you’re aware of practical issues that are causing a problem, there are services available to help with issues such as: financial, housing or social care issues. They can either provide guidance and information themselves or sign-post you to other services that can help.
THAT works to alleviate food poverty throughout Teignbridge.
We also aim to help our clients address the underlying issues which surround the problem and work together for positive outcomes.
We offer many types of support for low-income and homeless members of the community, including providing food and home start packs, information, mentoring and more! Just ask the school, CAB, surgery, Social Services, Housing Association, Salvation Army, Children's Services, Job Centre, Housing office etc to give us a call or email.
We provide free, confidential and impartial advice. Our goal is to help you find a way forward, whatever problem you face, and to campaign for change on the issues affecting people's lives.
To us, carers are at the heart of everything we do. We are continuously looking at ways we can improve our service, acting upon advice and feedback from carers as well as professionals. We believe that carers should be acknowledged as experts in care for their loved one and it is our role to support them in their caring role.
Many of our team are carers, or have been carers in the past and can draw upon their own life experiences, as well as receiving up-to-date training, in their support of carers.
